There are many political issues facing this country. There are two main views of those issues- Conservative and Liberal views.
In this page we will explore those issues and discuss them from both points of view. The issues we will talk about are Health Care Reform, War on Terror, and Homosexual Marriage.

Health Care Reform

Liberal: Although the Health Care Bill is wrong for many reasons it will also make things easier for a lot of people. It will provide Health Care for those who cannot afford it

Conservative: First of all, the health care bill is unconstitutional because if forces American citizens to purchase something. It goes against the first and tenth amendment of personal rights. People have the right to buy what they want. If someone doesn't want to purchase something, they shouldn't have to. This bill forces citizens to buy health care. It also puts the government in charge of 20% of the country's economy. The government should only be in charge of the military. Also, people can't have customized plans so if they need special care, it won't be provided for them. Doctor's offices will be so busy, people with serious diseases might not get appointments when they need. If you find out you have cancer, you might not get in to see the doctor for months, causing he cancer to spread. One more thing, the health care bill provides abortion under its plan. Abortion is so wrong. Unborn babies are as much people as you and me. Their heart beats, they think, they feel. Abortion should not be included in health care. It shouldn't even be legal. Bottom line, the health care bill spells trouble.

War on Terror

Liberal:

Conservative: We originally went to the middle east because of threats of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. We have stayed there and our country has remained safe.
